Vintage French Quarter roofing slate chalkboard. We have taken our beautiful, weathered French Quarter roofing slate and wrapped it with a Spanish Cedar trim. The beautiful tight grain of the Cedar adds to the appeal. Both sides are beautiful and very much usable. Wooden trim measures 3/4” thick and 1 5/8” wide. We are currently offering two sizes. overall measurements are 11 1/4” x 14 3/4” and 11 3/4”x 16 3/4”. The smaller piece weighs 3.8 lbs. and the larger weights 4.8 lbs. The beautiful Spanish Cedar trim is sealed with several coats of high quality polyurethane sealer giving a long lasting satin finish. Each chalkboard includes six soapstone pencils for writing.
